News and community updates

Discover how Northwest Indiana Veterans Housing Alliance Inc. is actively restoring dignity, establishing affordable living, and empowering local veterans across Merrillville and Northwest Indiana.

Launching our regional awareness campaign

We are introducing our community awareness initiative across Merrillville and the surrounding region. By collaborating with local civic leaders, churches, and residents, our goal is to identify veterans experiencing housing instability and provide immediate avenues toward stable, permanent homes.

Expanding affordable housing opportunities

Our mission is larger than basic shelter; it is about creating sustainable foundations. Through continuous affordable housing development, we are working to secure safe residences where veterans can regain complete independence and plan for a future with hope.

Building partnerships for lasting impact

Serving those who served our country requires a united effort. We continue to partner with local businesses, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure every veteran receives comprehensive wrap-around support as they rebuild their lives.
